ギタリスト・作曲家
1977年10月20日生まれ
大阪府枚方市出身・愛知県在住
甲陽音楽学院を卒業後、ヤマハPMS講師を経てアメリカ・ボストンのバークリー音楽大学の奨学金を獲得し留学。
帰国後は関西、東海地区を中心に全国各地でジャズをはじめ幅広い分野での活動を繰り広げている。
関西発のコンテンポラリージャズグループVermilion Fieldのギタリストとしてビクターとのメジャー契約作をはじめこれまでに４枚のアルバムをリリースする他、牛嶋としこのアルバムへの参加や、作曲家としても映画音楽や日本最南端の学校・波照間小学校の愛唱歌などを手がけている。
2015年末に初のソロアルバム『Joy to the World』を発表、Amazonで上位にランクインする。
2016年春にVermilion Fieldで担当した『すみだストリートジャズフェスティバル』の公式テーマソングを発表。
2017年９月Vermilion Field４枚目のアルバム『twelf』をリリース。
2019年10月にクラウドファンディングで制作したソロアルバム『footprints on my way~大きな道の小さな足あと~』
近年はソロで活動にも力を入れ、毎年12月には『Joy to the World!!』というタイトルで全曲クリスマスソングによるソロギターの全国ツアーを行っている。

Ohmichi Yuda was born in 1977,Osaka Japan .
After graduating Koyo Conservatory of Music,
He entered Berklee College of Music with a scholarship.
After moving back to Japan,
he started playing in various style nationwide.
As a guitarist of a contemporary jazz group
'Vermilion Field', He released several albums.
3rd album 'Faira' was released from Victor Entertament.
He also joined a couple of albums of Toshiko Ushijima.
As a composer, He wrote screen music,
and also for elementary school,and so on.
He released his first solo guitar album
'Joy to the World', which ranked high in Amazon sales chart.
In spring 2016, Vermilion Field released official anthem for
'Sumida Street Jazz Festival'.
In September 2017, He released Vermilion Field's 4th album 'twelf'.
